Wrexham were left disappointed with their overall performance in the West Midlands, but will get the opportunity to exact revenge when Birmingham visit North Wales in January. Ahead of that game, McClean has told a live hosting of Ben Foster’s ‘Fozcast’: “That was just the warm up! We owe them one, and we’ll get them back at our place!”

McElhenney will likely be back in the UK for that fixture, potentially with Reynolds alongside him. Wrexham will hope to still be in the promotion mix by then, with Phil Parkinson’s side currently perched at the League One summit – with 16 points collected from seven games.
