The Sky Blues travel to Deepdale in their first match back after the international break but won’t face the threat of the 25-year-old front man who has been able to play for the Lilywhites in the last two games despite being charged for sinking his teeth into the young Welshman, scoring twice against Watford on Wednesday night.

Osmajic admitted he was guilty on Monday but it’s only today, Friday, that The FA have now banned him. He has been fined £15,000 as well as slapped with a heavy punishment, ruling him out the next eight fixtures. FA Spokesman on X said: “The forward admitted that he commited an act of violent conduct around the 87th minute by biting an opponent.”
