Mark Robins has made just one change to his Coventry City starting line-up to face Sheffield Wednesday, keeping faith the majority of the team that got the job done against Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday night.

Tatsuhiro Sakamoto was an early injury casualty in the Sky Blues’ 3-0 midweek win, replaced by Ephron Mason-Clark who again deputises for the Japanese winger on the right of the attacking three.

Ben Wilson keeps his place in goal as he and the back four go in search of another clean sheet this afternoon, with central defensive partnership Bobby Thomas and Liam Kitching operating with Milan van Ewijk on the right and Jake Bidwell keeping Jay Dasilva out on the left.

Josh Eccles and Ben Sheaf are again deployed in the deeper midfield roles with Jack Rudoni in a more advanced number ten slot, with Mason-Clark to his right and Haji Wright to the left in an expected 4-2-3-1 formation. That leaves Brandon Thomas-Asante to continue as the lone striker for the second game running, getting the nod again ahead of Ellis Simms who provides attacking back-up from he bench along with fellow front men Norman Bassette and Fabio Tavares.
