With the January transfer window just over a couple of months away, many a club will be turning their attention to the contract situations of their valued players in a bid to avoid any slipping through the net and preparing to leave on free transfers.
A whole host of Championship players see their contracts expire in 2025 and Albion are certainly not the only second tier club with a number in the final year of their contracts.
Some managers, of course, may be happy to let certain individuals run down their deals and move on next summer, thus freeing up wages to freshen things up in those outgoing positions.
