Confidence eh? When it materialises it’s akin to magic
It’s okay folks, we’re nearly there. Just three days before the world’s longest, most inconvenient international break ends. Then normality can be restored, which, in City’s case, usually involves a sluggish restart to proceedings as some take 90+ minutes to shake off their jet lag (but hopefully not this time).
As such, this editor has no fresh content to offer but instead, I give you another classic from Kevin Baldwin’s award-winning MFW portfolio. This one is from November 2009, when Paul Lambert and Ian Culverhouse had just started to turn the NCFC tide after dishing out that 7-1 opening-day walloping.

The subject of confidence has been exercising me of late (not that I should complain; after all, it’s been the only exercise I’ve had for a while). Specifically, I’ve been wondering how much confidence I’d like our two children to have as they grow up.
Of course, I want them to feel secure in themselves, capable of giving new things a go and sure enough of their opinions to speak up. At the very least, I don’t want them to suffer the self-doubt and social detachment which has often held me back (I thought about starting a support group for fellow sufferers, but I feared no one would come).
