Nuno Espirito Santo‘s side are currently sat in 10th spot of the table ahead of the Premier League’s return and will be presented with a real opportunity on Monday night.

Forest will be playing in front of the City Ground crowd where they’ll be facing a Crystal Palace side who are in search of their first win of the league season.

But there is some positive news coming out of Selhurst Park for Oliver Glasner on the injury front ahead of their trip to the City Ground.

Crystal Palace injury latest ahead of Forest trip
For both sides, Monday night provides a big opportunity to get three points on the board with Forest still looking to give their home crowd something to cheer.

The Eagles find themselves slumped inside the bottom three and are the only side in the league to have lost to Everton this season.

But Oliver Glasner will be hoping to see his side come out firing with some positive injury news to boast from south London ahead of the game.

Speaking to the media on Thursday, Glasner claimed both Adam Wharton and Daniel Munoz are going to return to the squad from injury.

“I think so [both will return]. Today [Thursday] was Daniel Munoz’s first day where he was part of the training session with us – which was good,” Glasner told Sky Sports.

“Adam Wharton, as well. So we managed his issues quite well and the medical team is really doing a great job and I think both should be available.”

Nottingham Forest need to improve their home form
Forest’s start to the season could have been seriously impressive if the Reds were able to sort out their home form.

So far, Forest have lost against Fulham and drawn their two previous games at home in the league so far this season.

Nuno’s side are going into the game on Monday sitting just four points adrift of the Champions League spots.

Of course, most Forest fans would have taken the start to the season which Forest have made but it could have quite easily have been so much better with some improved home form.
