Watford forward given green light to head out on loan

Watford attacker Michael Adu-Poku has joined Solihull Moors on loan, as announced by the non-league side’s official website.
Watford have let the forward link up with the National League side to get some experience under his belt.

Adu-Poku, 19, is in line to make his debut for his new team this weekend as they prepare to face Barnet.

He has told their website: “I found it (first training session) good, the lads have been great and of course the quality in training is high. Andy (Whing) introduced me to himself, the coaching staff and I’m excited to get going.

“I like to say I’m very direct, take the ball forward and create opportunities for the team and help out as much as possible.”

He added: “I want to help push us up the league of course, help the team in any way they need. I’ve come in to do my best and show them what I can do at this level of football and hopefully get a few goals and assists to spur us on.”
