Leeds United host Watford in the Championship on Tuesday night as both sides look to pick up a valuable three points.
Leeds United make the quick turnaround to face Watford on Tuesday night after a statement win against fellow promotion hopefuls Sheffield United last week.
The Whites blunted the Blades as they ran out 2-0 winners at Elland Road. Goals from Pascal Struijk and Mateo Joseph secured the three points and they’ll be out to claim another big win on home turf here.
Daniel Farke’s side sit 3rd in the table, three points off leaders Sunderland and two behind Burnley in 2nd.
Watford meanwhile have hit some patchy form after a strong start. The opening two months of the season have still been stronger than expected though as they sit in 8th, two points off the play-offs.
Tom Cleverley’s side were unable to build on a win over Middlesbrough before the break as they were soundly beaten by rivals Luton Town. The Hatters beat comfortably the Hornets 3-0.
Away form has been hard to come by with four straight defeats on the road for Cleverley and co.
