West Brom man ruled out of Blackburn Rovers trip as Carlos Corberan shares update.
West Brom boss Carlos Corberan has said Mason Holgate will be out of action for ‘one week’.
West Brom swooped to land the centre-back on loan from Everton in the last transfer window.
Holgate, 28, hasn’t played since re-joining the Baggies and has sustained a quad injury on international duty with Jamaica.
In this latest update regarding his condition ahead of their trip to Blackburn Rovers this evening, Corberan has said, as per a report by BirminghamLive:“In his last game with the national team with Jamaica he felt something in the quad. It doesn’t look very serious, but from the day of the scan it looks like he will be out for one week.
“Holgate is in the same situation as the previous game. He wants to put himself ready, but it would be a risk to increase an injury that is small, with no sense, so he will stay in the same situation and all of the other players are fine for now.”
