Charissa Thompson Sends Six-Word Message to Aaron Rodgers After ‘Thursday Night Football’
NFL reporter Charissa Thompson recently hosted the “Thursday Night Football” show on Amazon Prime Video, covering a matchup between the New York Jets and Houston Texans. The Jets earned a 21-13 victory behind a phenomenal performance from quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the offense. Following the matchup, Thompson and the Prime Video crew interviewed Rodgers. Each of the cast members, including Tony Gonzalez, Andrew Whitworth, Richard Sherman, Ryan Fitzpatrick, and Thompson, were wearing Halloween costumes during the show since they were celebrating the holiday on Thursday. Thompson posted a picture of the eccentric interview online while thanking Rodgers for the time.
“Thanks for dealing with the nonsense,” Thompson said.
Thompson and the “Thursday Night Football” panel may have gone into Week 9 celebrating, but Rodgers and the Jets weren’t in the same boat.
New York was looking to snap a five-game losing streak, desperate to add a number to the win column. While they faced a talented team from the AFC in the Texans, Rodgers took care of business with three touchdowns and 211 yards, completing 22-of-32 pass attempts. His No. 1 receiver in Week 9 was Garrett Wilson, who finished the outing with two touchdowns and 90 yards on nine receptions. The Jets moved to 3-6 on the season with the “Thursday Night Football” victory.
